Founded to advance the study, clinical practice, and global awareness of myology (the science of muscles), the American Myology Association (AMA) is a leading professional organization dedicated to improving muscle health for all.
Our mission is to revolutionize healthcare by delivering convenient, and affordable non-pharmacological care, aiming to make a go-to solution for those seeking natural relief and well-being,and to bridge gaps between myology research, clinical care, and public education—empowering myologists, healthcare providers, students, and patients with evidence-based resources to address muscle-related conditions.
We focus on three core goals:
- Accelerate innovation in myology research (e.g., skeletal muscle disorders, smooth muscle function, muscle pain mechanisms);
- Standardize clinical practices for muscle health (including Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling, rehabilitation protocols, and diagnostic guidelines);
- Raise public understanding of muscle health to prevent, manage, and treat muscle-related diseases.
Our vision is a world where every individual has access to specialized myology care, and muscle health is prioritized as a cornerstone of overall well-being. We strive to become the global hub for myology collaboration, connecting professionals across 20+ countries through our clinics network, research partnerships, and educational programs.
